In the summer of 2012, my family hosted two families as guests. They were on their way to New York City to plant a church and invited us to join their church planting team. The vision for church planting in New York City began sprouting in our hearts from that moment. After a decade of searching for the place of church planting, asking God's guidance, visiting cities in Delaware, Maryland, Texas, and Ohio, we ended up believing New York Metropolitan area is the place where we will plant our life for God’s mission.

To fulfill the Great Commission, we need to raise both homogeneous leaders who can effectively reach their own people and cross-cultural leaders who can carry the gospel beyond their own culture. New York City is the ideal place to develop this, since it is home for almost all peoples of the globe exchanging their culture in their daily lives. We envision to make disciples of all nations and send them to all peoples from New York City to all around the world.
